Finding Dream through Heart, Structure, Balance
We use the energy of this time to clear the channels so love, kindness, generosity can come through as a guide.
Paying attention to your dreams IS an act of kindness. Dreams come to make us aware of places we love well and places we need help loving and healing.
Love Action:
Put a notebook by your bed (and a pen or book light) and write down your dreams. Or record them. Or both. Your future self will feel the love.
Roz Clements, my dream teacher, says, “Dreams come to tell us how and why we are not accepting and loving ourselves….When ideals of perfection are too high, or work against our natural growth towards wholeness, we might have a dream.”
Dreams point the way toward wholeness and love.
Writing may support you in getting to the HEART of things. That’s what I do with dreams and Tarotpy. Get to the heart. When we need support to see what’s up too close, or too far.
Close your eyes when you first wake and breathe with the dream. Write it down. The images are alive. Or, ask a question and pull a Tarot card. Make time for YOUR images. Make time for your heart.
Building Strength and Structure:
Paying attention to dreams is a profound practice. It takes patience to awaken into dream recall, taking the time to write or record. The rewards are tremendous. The dreaming world is your hidden world, the one you long for.
Tarot and dream images say a lot about structures of the psyche and what would be helpful to soften or strengthen. What’s going on in your life? What do your dreams say about what needs bolstering and what needs softening? What would help to bring insight from the dream world into daily practice?
Balance:
The human heart is a microcosm of the Cosmic heart. How do we steady ourselves in a world widely out of balance? Dreams are images of the soul, giving us our own nightly YouTube, nudging or screaming to come back to balance.
